I really liked the plot and characters of this book. The ending punched me right between the eyes (and what saved it from a 3 star rating). My problem with this book and what all the 5 star reviewers neglected to bring up was the editing. Wrong words were used: new instead of knew (which any author should know), where instead of were. There are more but I won't list them all. Also, ending sentences with ? when it clearly should be a period, all the extra commas that had no business being there and the sentences that were not complete sentences. I think this guy has GREAT potential as an author and I will check out more books by him because, as I said, I did like this story. My advice to you Mr. Bradley is ask some friends (who will give you an honest opinion) to read your books and give you help proofreading. Another alternative is to advertise for Beta readers after you create an author page. It sucks to keep being pulled out of a story because of errors and interrupts a person's reading experience.Product details

I downloaded this book for free, and it was so good I would have gone back and paid for it. Great story development, keeps you guessing the whole way.
I am weary of run-of-the-mill detectives who are pale shadows of Spade, Spenser or Milhone and even wearier of mad serial killers. Here we have a thriller that comes at the genre in a new way. This novel is filled with twists and surprises that are believable yet unexpected. You just have to keep reading.
Great compulsive read. Definitely hard to put down once you start. It's not what you expect even though you think you know all along. Kept me guessing right up until the end. Even continued to think about the plot after I finished reading it. Loved it!

I loved this book because of the reality element. How far would we go to protect those we love? It's full of suspense and I loved the surprise ending.
